Tender Walk Through , Changes and more for Majestic35

Our CSR for our Wisdom Homes, Majestic35 happened to be a lovely lady who paid great attention to even the  minutest details . She was one of those people who loved her work and made sure she went that extra mile to achieve perfection in whatever she delivered.  Our tender walkthrough was as detailed as a plan walkthrough. We requested for a few changes to the original plan of Wisdom Homes Majestic35 some of which were :

  1. Exchanging the location of the guest bedroom and the home theatre room so as to make the guest bedroom adjacent to the powder room
  2. Additional shower to the powder room
  3. Adding a fixed panel large sized window to the living room . ( I always like my spaces full of radiance from the mighty sun)
  4. Swapping the leisure area with the kitchen to get in some more sunlight . Also we wanted the dining and leisure to be continuous spaces so we could partition them according to how we wished.
  5. We also catered in for a gas fireplace just to stay cosy on cold winter  nights.

Our CSR also educated us that our site was under the zone of influence of a sewer which would require an additional allowance in the tender for a sewer peg out report and additional piering  to be done, to be provided to the Waterboard

.

We were slowly getting there with small refinements . We also made sure we followed some dos and don’ts of close friends who had already been through the journey.  Following the tender walk through we started doing a bit of homework on our selections and getting ready for the land registration and builder contracts to be signed. During the entire process of the admin we were walking through different display homes just to get a look and feel of lighting and placement and any structural change if needed . Of course it was also to check the selections and interiors.

We visited both Austral and PGH for brick selections both of which had some friendly and helpful. We also made a few rounds to the addresses that had houses constructed with the bricks in our selection range from Wisdom. It was imperative to do this, as this was the only way we could visualise the brick with the whole structure.

Dark coloured bricks were in trend and we were in two minds between the PGH Vino and Espresso. Finally we decided to go ahead with Vino. This was our first step towards the massive selection process that was to follow the contract signing.
